Roman Stavnychy [Роман Ставничиӣ], (b. unknown; d. unknown). Conductor and music teacher in Berezhany, Yavoriv, Kolomyia. He studied at the Mykola Lysenko National Music Academy in Lviv and was a conductor of the “Boyan” choir. He was in exile in Vienna and then in Bavaria (Karlsfeld, Berchtesgaden) in 1949. Later, he made it to Buffalo, NY where he was the choir director at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church.
