Ilya Tsiorokh
Ilya Tsiorokh [Ілля Цьорох] (b. 1880 in Kolbayevichi, Lviv oblast, Ukraine; d. March 26, 1942, in New York, NY) Composer and choral conductor of Carpatho-Rusyn descent. He received his primary music education at the Stavropygian Brotherhood in Lviv, and later at the Lviv Conservatory of Music. Ilya Tsiorokh immigrated to the U.S. in 1918 and resided in New York City.
