Rev. Andrew Dworakivsky

Rev. Andrew Dworakivsky [Андріӣ Двораківскиӣ] (b. in western Ukraine; d. May 16, 1976, in Northampton, PA). Musician, composer, and priest. Father Dworakivsky loved fine Ukrainian liturgical music. During his tenure as pastor at St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Ambridge, PA, he organized and directed the parish’s Lysenko Choir. In later years (1952-1960) he served at St. Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church in McKees Rocks, PA. He was reassigned in 1961 to the parish at the Assumption of the Holy Virgin in Northampton, PA, where he remained until his death on May 16, 1976.
