Marian Izak [Мaріян Їжaк], (b. May 4, 1924, in Ambridge, Pennsylvania; d. February 13, 2018, in Austintown, Ohio). Choir Director at St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church in Austintown, Ohio, and part-time music director at Holy Trinity in nearby Youngstown. She earned a degree in Music Education from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and taught music in the public schools for over 30 years. She also directed the “KALYNA” Choir of Pittsburgh, which was affiliated with the League of Ukrainian Catholics.
