
Oleksandr Koshetz [Олександр Кошиць], (b. September 12, 1875, in the village of Romashky (near Kyiv), Ukraine; d. September 21, 1944, in Winnipeg, Manitoba). Influential 20th century Ukrainian composer, arranger, choral director, ethnographer, writer, musicologist, and lecturer.
