Msgr. Russell Danylchuck

Msgr. Russell Danylchuck [о. Ярослав Дaнильчук], (Dec. 9, 1922, in Wilkes-Barre, PA.; June 2, 1984, in Carnegie, PA), founder and first pastor of Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church in Carnegie, Pennsylvania. His father, Simeon Danylchuck, was the choir director for many years at St. Michael’s in Frackville, Pennsylvania. He studied for the priesthood in Stamford, Connecticut, and Washington, D. C. and was ordained in 1947. He passed away in 1984 and is buried in the parish cemetery in Carnegie.
