Leonid Charczenko [Леонід Харченко], (b. February 20, 1930; d. May 18, 2018, in Somerset, NJ). First choir director (1952) at St. Andrew Memorial Church in South Bound Brook, NJ; and choir director at Holy Ascension Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Maplewood, NJ, from 1976 to 2018. He also worked with a number of other choral groups in the area, including the Dumka Chorus of New York.
