Dimitri Zazworsky [Дмитріӣ Зазворскиӣ], (b. January 18, 1910; d. December 17, 1990). Choir director at St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral in Cleveland, OH in the 1930s. After his time in Cleveland, Professor Zazworsky relocated to Carteret, NJ, where he spent the next four decades leading the choir at St. Demetrius Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Upon his retirement, his son Donald took over as director. Dimitri Zazworsky died on December 17, 1990, and is buried at St. Vladimir’s Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery in Ramey, PA.
