Rev. Serhij Libackyj

Rev. Serhij Libackyj [о. Сергій Лібацький], (b. Sept. 6, 1892, in Volyn; d. March 1968 in Syracuse, New York), Ukrainian religious and cultural figure; parish priest (1920-1930) in Musorivtsy near Zbarazh. (с. Хвощівка, нині Хмельниччина). Married Kateryna Slovinska (1915) and had four children. He immigrated with his family to Western Europe during World War II, and later to the USA (1955). He was known for his numerous musical works and paintings.
